Rules of Play
ELIGIBILITY
The purchaser must be at least 18 years of age to play. Tickets cannot be purchased on behalf of a person less than 18 years of age.
Tickets can only be purchased by Ontario residents and purchasers must be physically in Ontario at the time of purchase.
Employees of the WDMH Foundation, members of the WDMH Foundation Board of Directors, as well as their immediate family members and current staff members of BUMP, a Division of CBN, including employees and contractors, are prohibited from purchasing tickets or winning any prizes associated with this raffle. This measure is in place to maintain the integrity and fairness of the raffle.
TICKET SALES
Tickets can only be purchased within the province of Ontario.
Tickets may only be purchased online at wdmhfoundationraffles.ca.
Tickets are sold in the following bundles:
· $5 for 3 numbers
· $10 for 10 numbers
· $30 for 60 numbers
· $70 for 200 numbers.
Debit and credit cards are accepted as payment when purchasing tickets online at wdmhfoundationraffles.ca.
Purchasers must provide their first name, last name, address, telephone number and e-mail address as part of the purchase process and can only purchase tickets with a valid debit card or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) via our secure payment gateway.
Tickets will be sold using a certified online raffle system supplied by Bump Canada LTD.
After buying, purchasers will be presented with a downloadable and printable ticket/receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System (RNG). No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly. Numbers purchased will be stored electronically along with the purchasers purchase history and information.
DRAWS, PRIZES, WINNERS
The winning number(s) will be drawn at the WDMH Foundation located at 566 Louise Street, Winchester Ontario.
The winning ticket number will be selected by an RNG system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for the period of the raffle.
The amount of each 50/50 jackpot will be posted on the website wdmhfoundationraffles.ca and will update in real-time to show the current jackpot at all times.
Ticket holders do not need to be present at the draw to win.
The winning number will be featured on the website wdmhfoundationraffles.ca immediately after the draw. Additionally, the winner will be contacted via telephone or e-mail as per the information submitted at time of online purchase.
A member of the WDMH Foundation will reach out to the winner by phone to advise them of their winnings.
The winner must contact an employee of the WDMH Foundation at 613-774-2422 to receive instructions on how to verify their identity and provide that to the WDMH Foundation.
Upon verification of the winner’s identity and age, via a scanned copy of a valid provincial or federal photo identification card (i.e. driver’s license or passport), the winner will be sent payment by cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that game. If the winner cannot provide a scan of acceptable photo identification, the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided. Health cards are not an acceptable type of identification card.
All payments to the winners will be made by cheque.
The winner must provide their name, address, and phone number with approved photo identification for the WDMH Foundation’s and the AGCO’s reporting purposes. A scan of a valid provincial or federal photo identification card (i.e. driver’s license or passport are acceptable, health cards are not.) The winner’s address and phone number will not be made public. The winner’s name will be broadcast/posted on the website wdmhfoundationraffles.ca and publicized via the WDMH Foundation’s Facebook page.
Winning ticket holders have six months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
In the event that attempts to connect with the winner are unsuccessful, the winning ticket will be securely kept by the WDMH Foundation for a period of six months after the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for. After six months has elapsed, the unclaimed prize will be donated to a beneficiary APPROVED by the licensing authority.
Any winner who is paid a prize agrees to grant to the WDMH Foundation an irrevocable right to publish, through all types of media, including the internet, for the purposes of promoting the win, their full name, hometown, and photograph without any claim for printing, or other rights. Winners who are paid a prize also give the WDMH Foundation the right to publish any additional information that they voluntarily provide. Winners shall have no claim against the WDMH Foundation for invasion of privacy or any other ground(s) by reason of the publication of their name, hometown, photograph or information voluntarily provided by the winners.
Results of the draw will be posted on the WDMH Foundation’s website at wdmhfoundationraffles.ca and on the WDMH Foundation Facebook page. Once the winner’s name is drawn, the game is concluded, and AGCO is notified immediately.
GENERAL RULES
This raffle operates under the terms and conditions of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)
The WDMH Foundation reserves the right to prohibit or refuse ticket sales to any individual.
The above set of rules will be posted on the website wdmhfoundationraffles.ca and may be downloaded (pdf) or printed from that site.
By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the rules of the WDMH Foundation 50/50 raffles.
Any inquiries regarding the conduct of the lottery, the chances of winning, prizing, or procedures should be directed to the organizing foundation prior to purchasing a ticket.
All orders will be processed and fulfilled using the BUMP, a Division of CBN, raffle management platform. In the event of any discrepancies, BUMP’s records shall be considered correct and final.
The organizing foundation is responsible for the overall conduct and management of the raffle.
The liability of the licensee is limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
Privacy
By claiming a prize, the winner consents to the use of their likeness, photograph, first and last name, ticket number, city/town of residence, and any audio/video recordings (or written transcriptions) of the winner notification call for promotional purposes by the Foundation managing the WDMH Foundation 50/50 raffles.
The organizing foundation respects the privacy of all raffle participants and does not sell, rent, or trade supporter lists.
Personal information collected is used solely to process ticket purchases, keep supporters informed about foundation activities, and request support for future fundraising efforts.
How do Subscriptions Work?
When you purchase your tickets you will have the chance to subscribe for automatic purchases for future weekly draws for the Raffle.
To subscribe to purchase tickets, proceed through the checkout process. Before you proceed to provide payment details, you will be given the option to subscribe to future draws for the WDMH Foundation 50/50 Raffles. Select the price point you wish to subscribe to, the quantity you wish to purchase each draw, and continue to purchase your tickets. You will be subscribed for future draws for the WDMH Foundation 50/50 Raffles using the payment method selected for your purchase.
Your subscription purchases will begin with the next WDMH Foundation 50/50 Raffle.
Your subscription will remain active until the final draw of the last 50/50 raffle hosted by the WDMH Foundation under the applicable lottery license, concluding on March 2nd, 2026.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply go into your account and unsubscribe. You can access or create your account at any time on the website by clicking on the Subscription Account link on the top of the web page.
You can also unsubscribe by sending us an email to jplummer@wdmh.on.ca containing the receipt of your ticket purchases. Make sure you send it from the email address you used to subscribe.
If your credit card is declined, your raffle ticket purchase will not be processed, and you will be automatically unsubscribed from your raffle subscription. To re-subscribe, you will need to go through the subscription process once again and provide your updated credit card details.
Your credit card on file will only be charged when the quarterly draw for the 50/50 Raffle opens and is triggered by the Foundation. You will be charged once on the day that the Event Percentage draw opens. Should you wish to purchase additional tickets, you can do so through the checkout process and make another purchase.
You will have the option to pick the price point you wish to subscribe to and the quantity you wish to purchase.
An account is required for subscription management (i.e. cancelling subscription). The account is created after the subscription is created; the user does not create an account to initiate the subscription. All payment methods will be available.
